The Google Analytics tools let your AI agent query your GA4 properties from a normal conversation. Ask how many users a site had last month, which pages grew, where the traffic comes from, or compare two periods โ the AI runs the report and reads the numbers for you.
Access goes through a Google Cloud service account that you create and control. You add it as Viewer only on the properties you want to share, store its JSON key once in your private RunTools storage, and revoke it from Google at any time.
Why use Google Analytics?
What can you do?
Weekly traffic check
Ask your AI for the users per day of the last 30 days and whether the trend is going up or down.
Content performance
Find the pages with the most views this month and the ones that lost traffic compared to the previous one.
Traffic sources
See which referrers, campaigns and search engines bring visitors, and how many sessions each one drives.
Multi-site overview
List every property you manage and get a quick summary of each one in a single conversation.
How to set up
Create a service account
In Google Cloud, create a project (or use one), enable the Google Analytics Data API and the Google Analytics Admin API, create a service account and download a JSON key for it.
Grant Viewer access
In GA4, open Admin โ Property access management on each property and add the service account email (it ends in .iam.gserviceaccount.com) with the Viewer role.
Store the key
Save the whole JSON key with env_vars_set key='GA_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_JSON'. It is a secret: prefer storing it yourself over pasting it into a shared chat.
Ask your AI
Try: "List my Google Analytics properties and give me the daily users of the last 30 days for the first one".
